In the absence of the Night Crew Lead, the Night Crew Back Up Person In Charge oversees Night Crew staff. They assist in the operation of the Grocery department by placing grocery orders, receiving and checking orders, storing and rotating products, arranging credits from vendors and processing invoices as assigned. They stock and face grocery displays with attention to quantity, quality, timeliness, appearance of displays and the merchandising plan.
Chop Shop Produce Helper Clerks participate in production and presentation of cut fruit and vegetables at the Chop Shop. They provide excellent, professional customer service, providing department customer service as needed.
Front End Helper Clerks provide excellent, professional customer service while bagging groceries and providing carryout. They participate in general cleaning around the store, including sweeping and taking out the trash. They may also stock and face groceries as needed.
The Deli Steward participates in Deli kitchen operations including cooking, retail merchandising, production planning, ordering and developing skills related to food cost analysis and staffing. They develop skills to provide mentorship and coaching to deli staff, including setting the standard for excellent customer service.
Deli Helper Clerks provide excellent customer service at the deli counter and other deli stations. They perform basic food prep, package deli items and clean in the deli area.
Cashiers provide excellent, professional customer service while accurately and efficiently processing orders and payments at the register. They promote PCC membership and programs.
Night Crew Clerks stock, face and rotate all grocery, dairy, frozen and bulk products. They unload incoming pallets of nightly deliveries. They maintain organization of back stock. When assigned, they place orders for Grocery Department items. This position also acts as a backup lead on occasion.

Meat Cutters cut, prepare and handle all meat and seafood products in accordance with PCC standards. They provide excellent, professional customer service.
The Grocery Lead assists in managing Grocery Department operations, including scheduling, ordering, productivity, budgeting, inventory, gross profit and reporting. They supervise and coach Grocery Department staff, and model and provide excellent, professional customer service.
