Main Job Responsibilities

  • Washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and various other food preparation equipment used in the Central Kitchen
  • Cleaning the bakery production areas and service areas
  • Taking out the trash, sweeping, mopping, and wiping down equipment
  • Basic food preparation, packaging, and labeling items when needed
  • Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards are met

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must be able to work in a busy bakery environment
  • Ability to work independently and be accountable to the commissary team
  • Available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Basic math skills for measurement and packaging functions
  • Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills
  • Must be able to meet physical requirements including standing, twisting, bending, repetitive motion and lifting 10-60lbs on a regular basis
  • A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
