Main Job Responsibilities

  • Provides excellent, professional customer service
  • Maintains accurate pricing of items in the store
  • Posts unit price tags as scheduled, verifies pricing accuracy between the shelf tag and price in POS file
  • Posts and removes special signs as scheduled, checking for accuracy between signage and price in POS file
  • Validates prices in the store on a rotating basis so that the store is completely validated every 13 weeks
  • Performs required POS file maintenance as scheduled
  • Communicates with the merchandising department regarding any issues affecting POS file accuracy
  • Reports to the Special Merchandising Projects Coordinator on a monthly basis regarding the Price File Comparison Report
  • Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience working with NCR ACS back-office applications and NCR cash registers
  • Computer knowledge and skills including Microsoft Office products and file management
  • Must be very detail oriented and organized
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Must be punctual and efficient, with flexibility in scheduling, and be able to work Monday – Friday, with occasional overnight shifts
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be able to meet physical demands of position including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion and lifting between 10-40lbs regularly
  • A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
