    $16.00+/hour, depending on experience + night differential
  • Overview

    Overnight Bakery Helper Clerks Provide excellent, professional customer service. They prepare, portion, package and label baked goods and prepared foods.

    Main Job Responsibilities

    • Production duties including, but not limited to preparing scones and baking cookies
    • Washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans and various other food preparation equipment used in the deli
    • Portioning, packaging, labeling, and merchandising bakery and savory deli products
    • Handles and organizes deliveries of incoming commissary orders
    • Cleans work stations as assigned
    • Becomes knowledgeable about deli products, specialty foods, baked goods and prepared foods
    • Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met
    • Follows department merchandising standards and procedures
    • Provides excellent, professional customer service when needed

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service
    • Ability to work in environments of varying temperatures
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Available to work the overnight shifts, including weekends
    • Knowledge of specialty and prepared foods preferred
    • Basic math skills for measurement and scale functions
    • Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills
    • Must be able to meet physical requirements including standing, twisting, bending, repetitive motion, and lifting 10-40lbs on a regular basis
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
