As a mission-oriented grocer with a focus on education, PCC Community Markets is looking for an Associate Instructional Designer with strong facilitation experience to work on advancing our educational initiatives. Instructional Designers and Educators are welcome to apply. The Associate Instructional Designer position serves as PCC’s primary administrator for our Learning Management System (LMS) by overseeing system and content setup, course enrollment, user training, and reporting.  The Associate Instructional Designer is also responsible for working with Subject Matter Experts to support the design, facilitation, implementation, and maintenance of individual training programs.

Central Kitchen Stewards are responsible for receiving and putting away freight and writing vendor orders. They are also responsible for producing, portioning and packaging items in the PCC Central Kitchen.

Grocery Helper Clerks provide excellent, professional customer service. They stock and rotate grocery, dairy, frozen and bulk items and serve as the go-to person for special orders and grocery questions.

Cooks produce prepared foods in accordance with PCC recipes for the deli case, hot bar, soup bar and other deli stations. They provide excellent, professional customer service.

The Kitchen Manager (Production Specialist) oversees Deli kitchen operations including production cooking, food cost analysis, recipe development and ordering. They provide mentorship and coaching to deli staff, including setting the standard for excellent customer service. They participate in production cooking and participate in department planning including budgeting and product mix.

Night Crew Clerks stock, face and rotate all grocery, dairy, frozen and bulk products. They unload incoming pallets of nightly deliveries. They maintain organization of back stock. When assigned, they place orders for Grocery Department items.

Overnight Baker/Cooks produce baked goods and prepared foods overnight, in accordance with PCC recipes for the bakery case, deli case, hot bar, soup bar and other deli stations. They provide excellent customer service when needed.

P.M. Deli Helper Clerks provide excellent customer service at the deli counter and other deli stations. They perform basic food prep, package deli items and clean in the deli area.

The P.M. Deli Lead assists in overseeing Deli operations including front of house service, retail merchandising and production cooking. They provide mentorship and coaching to deli staff, including setting the standard for excellent customer service. They participate in department planning including scheduling, budgeting and product mix.

The P.M. Front of House Deli Steward is instrumental in training Deli staff for all Front of House Deli programs. This position will work closely with the Deli Leadership team to maintain current best-practice information and implement provided training guidelines to Front of House Deli employees.

PCC Cooking Camp Instructors lead PCC Kids’ Camp attendees through a variety of sweet and savory recipes, imparting culinary education throughout the process.   Camp Instructors are responsible for executing classes from start to finish, providing a fun, inclusive,  and safe learning environment. Our Cooking Camps start June 24, 2024, running through the end of August. Instructors must be able to travel to at least 3 PCC store locations. (See Below)
