The Kitchen Manager oversees Deli kitchen operations including production cooking, food cost analysis, recipe development and ordering. They provide mentorship and coaching to deli staff, including setting the standard for excellent customer service. They participate in production cooking and participate in department planning including budgeting and product mix.
Meat Cutters cut, prepare and handle all meat and seafood products in accordance with PCC standards. They provide excellent, professional customer service.
Bakers provide excellent, professional customer service. They oversee bakery products within the Deli department and produce baked goods and prepared foods utilizing expertise. They are responsible for merchandising PCC bakery products.
Produce Helper Clerks provide excellent, professional customer service. They build and maintain produce displays and rotate back stock and sales floor product. They unload and organize incoming orders.
Grocery Helper Clerks provide excellent, professional customer service. They stock and rotate grocery, dairy, frozen and bulk items and serve as the go-to person for special orders and grocery questions.
Courtesy Clerks provide excellent, professional customer service while bagging groceries and providing carryout. They participate in general cleaning around the store, including sweeping and taking out the trash.
Beer and Wine Back Ups/Cashiers cashier and serve as a back up to the store's Beer and Wine Steward. They provide customer service in the Beer and Wine department, order and receive product and maintain relationships with customers and vendors.
Dishwashers/Prep wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans and various other food preparation equipment used in the deli. They ensure department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met. They produce deli items in accordance with PCC recipes and provide excellent, professional customer service.
Produce Clerks provide excellent, professional customer service. They build and maintain produce displays, rotate produce stock and receive and unload produce orders.
Meat Wrappers wrap and display all fresh cut meat and seafood products while ensuring accurate weighing and labeling and providing excellent customer service.
Meat Counter Service Clerks provide excellent, professional customer service. They stock, merchandise and clean the meat service case.
Night Crew Clerks stock, face and rotate all grocery, dairy, frozen and bulk products. They unload incoming pallets of nightly deliveries. They maintain organization of back stock. When assigned, they place orders for Grocery Department items.
Grocery Clerks assist in grocery department operations, including training and guidance of grocery staff, ordering, productivity, and inventory as assigned by Grocery Coordinator and Grocery Lead.
Deli Helper Clerks provide excellent customer service at the deli counter and other deli stations. They perform basic food prep, package deli items and clean in the deli area.
Cashiers provide excellent, professional customer service while accurately and efficiently processing orders and payments at the register. They promote PCC membership and programs.
Cooks produce prepared foods in accordance with PCC recipes for the deli case, hot bar, soup bar and other deli stations. They provide excellent, professional customer service.
