Front End Helper Clerks provide excellent, professional customer service while bagging groceries and providing carryout. They participate in general cleaning around the store, including sweeping and taking out the trash. They may also stock and face groceries as needed.
Flex Clerks have the unique opportunity to learn about and participate in multiple departments! Flex Clerks generally have a balance between cashiering and working in the grocery and produce departments. They provide excellent, professional customer service. They stock and rotate grocery, dairy, frozen and bulk items. They build and maintain produce displays and rotate back stock and sales floor product. Flex clerks may also assist other departments, such as the Deli.

Night Crew Clerks stock, face and rotate all grocery, dairy, frozen and bulk products. They unload incoming pallets of nightly deliveries. They maintain organization of back stock. When assigned, they place orders for Grocery Department items.
The Person In Charge oversees the entire store, ensuring that all PCC policies and procedures are followed. They provide and model excellent, professional customer service. They supervise the front end, overseeing the schedule and job responsibilities of Cashiers, Helper Clerks, Courtesy Clerks and other staff. They protect the safety of staff and customers and security of PCC property.
Deli Helper Clerks provide excellent customer service at the deli counter and other deli stations. They perform basic food prep, package deli items and clean in the deli area.
Overnight Deli Helper Clerks perform basic food preparation including portioning, packaging and stocking grab and go items overnight. They provide excellent customer service when needed.
*This shift will start in the evening and end in the morning of the next day.
Cheese Helper Clerks assist in the Cheese department within the deli, including cutting and wrapping and merchandising. They provide excellent customer service. They demonstrate knowledge of cheese varieties and wrapping and handling procedures.
Produce Clerks provide excellent, professional customer service. They build and maintain produce displays, rotate produce stock and receive and unload produce orders.
The Cashier/Back Up Person In Charge provides and models excellent, professional customer service. They accurately and efficiently process orders and payments at the register and are responsible for store closing duties, supervising the front end and overseeing the entire store as assigned.

The Bakery Steward role will be instrumental in supporting our PCC and Vendor Bakery program. This individual will work closely with the Deli Manager, Deli Retail Merchandiser and Deli Operations Manager to maintain best practices and program guidelines for our Bakery program. The Bakery Steward is responsible for ensuring the Bakery department delivers a visually appealing, high-quality, and well-stocked product display to enhance the shopping experience for customers.

The Primary role of the PCC Event Assistant is to support PCC Cooking Classes; by providing excellent customer service to students and assisting Chef Instructors with classroom set up, prep, and clean up.
Overnight Cooks produce prepared foods in accordance with PCC recipes for the deli case, hot bar, soup bar and other deli stations overnight. They provide excellent customer service when needed.
