The Back of House Deli Steward participates in Deli kitchen operations including cooking, retail merchandising, production planning, ordering and developing skills related to food cost analysis and staffing. They develop skills to provide mentorship and coaching to deli staff, including setting the standard for excellent customer service.
Overnight Grocery Clerks stock, face and rotate all grocery, dairy, frozen and bulk products. They unload incoming pallets of nightly deliveries. They maintain organization of back stock. When assigned, they place orders for Grocery Department items.
Overnight Bakers (Deli Clerks) produce baked goods and prepared foods overnight, in accordance with PCC recipes for the bakery case, deli case, hot bar, soup bar and other deli stations. They provide excellent customer service when needed.
The Person In Charge oversees the entire store, ensuring that all PCC policies and procedures are followed. They provide and model excellent, professional customer service. They supervise the front end, overseeing the schedule and job responsibilities of Cashiers, Helper Clerks, Courtesy Clerks and other staff.
