The Grocery Lead assists in managing Grocery Department operations, including scheduling, ordering, productivity, budgeting, inventory, gross profit and reporting. They supervise and coach Grocery Department staff, and model and provide excellent, professional customer service.   *Shift times will vary and would require morning, mid, and closing shifts*

The Meat Department Lead assists in overseeing Meat Department operations including ordering, processing and merchandising meat and seafood, inventory, and maintaining department cleanliness and sanitation standards. They provide mentorship and coaching to Meat staff, including setting the standard for excellent customer service. They participate in department planning including scheduling, budgeting, and product mix.

Night Crew Clerks stock, face and rotate all grocery, dairy, frozen and bulk products. They unload incoming pallets of nightly deliveries. They maintain organization of back stock. When assigned, they place orders for Grocery Department items.

Courtesy Clerks provide excellent, professional customer service while bagging groceries and providing carryout. They participate in general cleaning around the store, including sweeping and taking out the trash.

Produce Helper Clerks provide excellent, professional customer service. They build and maintain produce displays and rotate back stock and sales floor product. They unload and organize incoming orders.

The Deli Steward is instrumental in training Deli staff for all Deli programs. This position will work closely with the Deli Leadership team to maintain current best-practice information and implement provided training guidelines to Deli employees. 

Cut Fruit and Vegetable Helper Clerks participate in production and presentation of cut fruit and vegetables in the produce department's chop shop. They provide excellent, professional customer service and build and maintain produce displays and rotate back stock and sales floor product as needed.   This position is typically scheduled in the early morning.

Flex Clerks generally have a balance between cashiering and working in the grocery and produce departments. They provide excellent, professional customer service. Flex clerks may also assist other departments, such as the Deli.

Cashiers provide excellent, professional customer service while accurately and efficiently processing orders and payments at the register. They promote PCC membership and programs.   The working hours of the position will likely consist of mid-day and closing shifts.
